therapist office and

that is wonderful.  I feel like my healing has begun which is something I was never able to do within the traditional therapist's office.  Thanks so much for sharing with me...how peaceful life is."

     Mosaic Counseling, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Debbie Lillard, LCSW, when she moved her private practice from downtown Decatur to the tranquil city of Pine Lake, just five miles east. After practicing in business offices and highrises for many years, Debbie decided that it was time to create a therapeutic environment for clients that was peaceful and comfortable, away from corporate-like buildings. A little cottage just a block from the lake was the perfect spot. Here clients will find a supportive space for relaxation, mindfulness, and growth. Some may even want to come early to collage in the art room, take a stroll around the lake, or sit on the beach and watch the turtles and ducks!

     Jen Bertasi, LCSW, joined Mosaic Counseling, Inc. in 2007 after being in private practice on her own for four years. Given the fact that Debbie and Jen have been partners for nine years, co-facilitate Therapeutic Hiking Groups, and have similar views on professional issues, the merge was ideal. While Jen does occasionally see clients at the Pine Lake location, her primary office is in Atlanta conveniently located at I-85 and Briarcliff Road.

     Jasmine Williams-Miller, LMSW, has been part of Mosiac Counseling, Inc. since it's beginning as co-leader of the Sexual Abuse/Assault Group. She does not see individual clients at this time.
