Therapy

 The decision to begin, or continue with, individual therapy can often elicit many different feelings…relief, anticipation, comfort, fear, excitement, confusion…and the reasons for such a decision can be as varied as the degrees and combinations of these emotionsthat are felt.  Some people believe that individual therapy is helpful mainly in times of acute stress or crisis…while others view routine, scheduled time with an individual therapist as a consistent opportunity for self care and growth.  Neither view wrong or right, and with an infinite number of possibilities in-between, we encourage and invite curiosity about individual therapeutic needs and how they can best be met.  We also help those who are confused about the process find direction and purpose.
